Evanilson (born September 12, 1975 in Diamantina ; real name Evanilson Aparecido Ferreira ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .
Career
His youth clubs were América Belo Horizonte and EC Santa Tereza, then Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte was his first post as a professional.
Evanilson moved to Borussia Dortmund in August 1999 . There he made a name for himself as a strong attacking right-back ; he was with the team in the 2001/02 German champions and was defeated in the 2001/02 UEFA Cup final Feyenoord Rotterdam . In April 2005, Evanilson's contract was terminated prematurely due to serious injuries (including a cruciate ligament tear ).
He moved to Atlético Mineiro in Brazil on a free transfer . There he could not fulfill his two-year contract.
