Evelyn "Evybabee" Ng (born September 14, 1975 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a former professional Canadian poker player .

Career

Ng began her career when she first played pool for money at the age of 14 . At 17 she worked as a dealer in the games blackjack and poker . Around 1990 she became friends with the poker player Daniel Negreanu . He helped her expand her style of play so that she could also defeat aggressive players.

Ng became known when she came second in the 2003 World Poker Tour , ahead of pros like Annie Duke and Kathy Liebert in Ladies Night I ' . Her last tournament with a placement in the money was the 445th place in the Main Event of the 2010 World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas .
