Everton Clarke (born December 24, 1992 in Trelawny Parish ) is a Jamaican sprinter .

Athletic career

Everton Clarke gained his first international experience at the Pan American Junior Championships 2011 in Miramar , where he was eliminated in the first round over 100 and 200 meters and finished fourth with the Jamaican 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2014 he won the bronze medal in the 200-meter run and silver with the Jamaican relay at the U23 NACAC championships in Kamloops in 20.51 seconds. With the 4 x 400 meter relay, he finished fourth in the final.

At the IAAF World Relays 2017 in the Bahamas , he retired with the 4 x 100 meter relay in the run-up. In 2018 he took part in the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham for the first time , where he reached the semi-finals over 60 meters. In April he won the bronze medal with the relay in 38.35 s at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia .
