Evolution is an animated film by the DEFA studio for animated films by Lothar Friedrich from 1986 .
action
In primeval times, a monkey sits on a tree and is bored. Then he discovers a stick lying on the floor that interests him. When trying to grab it, it falls from the tree and loses its tail. He discovers that he can use the stick in many ways, including as a club for looking for food, so that the first person to walk upright develops from it. Over the centuries it only goes uphill until he becomes a person of the modern age.
Here he stumbles over a bottle of alcohol for the first time, the contents of which he tastes with his finger, and since he likes it, he drinks a whole glass, which he spits out again immediately. But he can't leave it anymore and tries again and again until he's totally drunk. Now things are going downhill again quickly with him, at first the monkey just sits on his shoulders until he becomes one of them himself and ends up in the tree again.
