Föllinge is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Jämtlands län and the historical province of Jämtland .

The place is in the municipality of Krokom , about 65 kilometers northwest of Östersund and belongs to the Socken Föllinge. This was an independent municipality between 1863 and 1973. Föllinge is located on a lake, the Föllingesjön . Two Länsvägär , the Krokom and Strömsund connecting Länsväg 339 and the Länsväg 344 , which passes Hammerdal and Överammer , intersect here .

Föllinge is the namesake of the Föllingekost , a vegetarian diet that emerged in the 1960s.
