For everyone , the German contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in Gothenburg , which was sung by the group Wind . The song reached the 2nd place out of 19 participants with 105 points and was only beaten by La det swing from the Bobbysocks .

Music and lyrics

The song is an electronically played pop or hit song that begins quietly and changes to a reggae- influenced rhythm in the chorus . The text dedicates the song to people who trust their emotions, who “see the rainbow in the dark” and “understand the unsaid words”.

Text and music come from Hanne Haller and Bernd Augener . The production was carried out by Hanne Haller, Bernd Beste and Werner Schüler . At the song contest, the song was sung in 10th place. Reiner Pietsch was a conductor. The song reached number 18 in the German charts, number 22 in Austria , 16 in Belgium and 19 in Sweden . The group Wind recorded the song in English (For Everyone), French (Pour tout le monde) and, unusually, also in Swedish (Så mångahabenkor, translated: 'So many people'). The latter version was written by Monica Forsberg . Wind led the song u. a. also in the ZDF hit parade . The group also called their debut album For Everyone .
