Teri Meri Kahaani (translated: Our Story ) is a Hindi film that tells three stories in three different decades that are only indirectly linked. The main characters are Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra , who were already seen together in the film Kaminey - Uneven Brothers (2009).

1960: The musician Govind just catches the train to Bombay and ends up in the compartment of Ruksar, a film actress. Despite initial outrage about Govind's behavior, she quickly takes him to the heart. When they arrive in Bombay, they part ways and Govind meets Mahi, his landlord's daughter. She also falls head over heels in love with the handsome boy.
There were repeated encounters with Ruksar until Mahi Govind invited to the premiere of Ruksar's new film. Until then, Govind did not know that Mahi and Ruksar were friends. Now the three face each other at the premiere and all three understand. Everyone feels like they have fallen in love with the wrong person. Govind apologizes to Mahi, in whom he only saw a good friend. His love is for Ruksar.
Govind packs his things and leaves Bombay. Before the train leaves, Ruksar comes into the compartment and the two make up.
2012: It's Krish's birthday and on this day his girlfriend Meera breaks up after an argument with him. Annoyed, Krish pulls around the houses and accidentally bumps into Radha. Misunderstandings arise, but then they spend the whole day together and fall in love.
Back in the dormitory he is surprised by Meera, but Krish doesn't want to know anything more about her. Radha and Krish get to know each other better on Facebook over the next few days . Meera, however, cannot bear to be left sitting there and takes revenge. She posts embarrassing pictures of Krish on Facebook. He doesn't put up with this and does the same with Meera. Radha is outraged by this childish behavior and breaks up with Krish.
Totally depressed, Krish invites Meera and Radha to a Shakespeare festival. In public, Krish reveals his love for Radha and lets Meera understand that it is over between them for good.
1910: The good-for-nothing Javed ensnares the British and Indian village beauties with his poetic poems. One day he fled from British soldiers and ended up with Aradhana, who took him under protection. He immediately falls in love with the pretty young woman. To win her heart, he wants to join her father's party, which is fighting against British rule in India.
During a demonstration, there was a fight between the villagers and the British. While Aradhana's father is injured, Javed has been hiding behind a car. When Aradhana's eyes meet Javeds, she is deeply disappointed in him.
To make amends for this, he proves his love. Javed deliberately provokes a British officer. Before Aradhana's eyes, he lets the officer beat him up. He is imprisoned for three months. After his release and other incidents, he takes Aradhana as his wife.

“Kohli handles his work competently, his actors show strong performances and somehow you like to watch the whole thing. That's enough for a recommendation, albeit certainly not a euphoric one. To do this, the three stories would have needed a better linked guide, something to benefit from one another, rather than simply running in parallel.
