The BuSG Aufbau Eisleben (full name Ball- und Spielgemeinschaft Aufbau Eisleben eV ) is a sports club from Lutherstadt Eisleben in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt . The club has its origins in FC Hohenzollern Helfta , which was founded in 1909 in what was then the municipality of Helfta . In addition to the football department , the club has branches for bowling , equestrian sports , gymnastics , darts and mountain biking .
history
On March 7, 1909, the Hohenzollern Helfta football club was founded in Helfta . At that time Helfta was a municipality in the Mansfelder Seekreis in the Prussian province of Saxony . The club joined the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs and played in the Gauliga Grafschaft Mansfeld . In the 1913/14 season, Hohenzollern Helfta took fourth place. In 1914/1915 there was no game operation. In the 1915/16 season , the club became champions of the Gauliga and was thus allowed to take part in the finals of the Central German Championship . In their first round, the Borussia Halle club lost 8-0. During the following season 1916/17 , the club withdrew its team from the current game operations.
FC Hohenzollern Helfta was renamed FC Helfta in 1919 and FC Wacker Helfta in 1920 , but until 1945 only played lower class. After the Second World War , the club initially operated as Wacker 09 Helfta . Wacker Helfta became BSG Stahl Helfta in 1953 , BSG Traktor Helfta in 1957 , BSG Traktor-Aufbau Eisleben in 1972 and, after the fall of the Wall, BuSG Aufbau Eisleben.
Structure Eisleben played in the state class from 1996 to 2008, a season in the state league in 2008/09, in the state class from 2009 to 2013, in the regional upper league from 2013/14 and in the state class again from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, the club's footballers were relegated to the regional league.
Personalities
The soccer player and coach Willi Schober (* 1913, died after 1965) emerged from the youth of Wacker Helfta.
