The FC Porto Taibesse is an East Timorese football club . He is based in the state capital Dili . The name is derived from the Portuguese club FC Porto and Dilis district Taibesi .
history
In 2001, Porto Taibesse took part in the Taça Vos Esperança Cup in 2001 , as well as in the 2004 championships. In the Super Liga 2006, Porto Taibesse came to the second round after two draws, but then lost to eventual finalists AD Esperança .
2015 Porto Taibesse reached in the qualifying round for the newly founded LFA Primeira Divisão in Group D place 2 of 6 and thus moved into the top division. In the 2016 season they reached place 3 out of 8. The 2017 season ended in last place in the table, so that FC Porto Taibesse 2018 had to play in the second-rate LFA Segunda Divisão for the first time . Here they came in 10th out of 12.
At Taça 12 de Novembro 2016 , they were eliminated in their first game against eventual cup winners AS Ponta Leste . At Taça 12 de Novembro 2017 and 2018 , Taibesse was also eliminated in the first round.
