The steam locomotives Vorarlberger Bahn 1–6, 7 "–9" formed an express train locomotive series of the Vorarlberger Bahn .

kkStB 23.02 former VB AV II No. 8 with a new boiler

The Vorarlberger Bahn procured six of this series (no.  1-6 ) from Krauss in Munich in 1872 and three from the StEG locomotive factory in 1876 (no.  7 "-9" ). The 1-6 had the names BREGENZ , BLUDENZ , FELDKIRCH , DORNBIRN , FRASTANZ and HOHENEMS ; the 7 "–9" were called INNSBRUCK , BODENSEE and ARLBERG .

After nationalization in 1885, the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB) initially referred to the machines with the numbers 1–6 as series  11 . The 7 "-9" were classified as 01/23/2003 . In 1891 the 11 series (after re-boilering) were classified as 04/23-09, whereby the dimensions of the boilers hardly differed from those of the old ones shown in the table.

After the First World War , only four of them came to the BBÖ , which they retired by 1930. One machine came to the Italian Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), which assigned it the serial number 121 and retired it in 1922.
