The steam locomotive series kkStB 34 were freight train - steam locomotives of the kkStB , which originally came from the kk priv. Crown Prince Rudolf-Bahn (KRB).
From 1868 to 1873 the KRB procured these triple-coupled machines from Sigl in Vienna , from the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik , from Maffei in Munich and from the Mödlinger Lokomotivfabrik . These were the first locomotives from Mödling.
Because of the hilly terrain, the machines in this series differed from those of the Kaiserin Elisabeth Bahn (KEB) in that they had smaller wheels and different boiler dimensions.
After the nationalization, the machines were classified as kkStB 34 .
The 34.29 was converted into the C1n2t 65 .01 in 1901 .
After the First World War , 18 pieces came to the BBÖ , some to the FS as series 194 , and, without having received their own series numbers, to the ČSD , to the PKP and to the railways of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and later to the JDŽ . The BBÖ withdrew their machines from the stock until 1929.
