Fabián Marulanda López

Fabián Marulanda López (born December 27, 1933 in Marulanda ) is a Colombian clergyman of the Roman Catholic Church and former Bishop of Florencia .

Life

Fabián Marulanda López was ordained a priest on November 20, 1960 . Pope John Paul II appointed him on July 15, 1986 titular bishop of Pederodiana and auxiliary bishop in Ibagué .

He received his episcopal ordination on November 6th of the same year by the Archbishop of Ibagué , José Joaquín Flórez Hernández ; The co- consecrators were Hernando Rojas Ramirez , Bishop of Neiva , and José Agustín Valbuena Jáuregui , Bishop of Valledupar .

On December 22, 1989, he was appointed Bishop of Florencia. He resigned from his office on July 19, 2002.
