Fabian Miesenböck (born July 7, 1993 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Miesenböck started his career in the youth academy of FC Kärnten . In 2010 he went to FK Austria Wien , in 2011 to SC-ESV Parndorf 1919 . In January 2013 he moved back to Carinthia, this time to SK Austria Klagenfurt . After promotion to professional football, he made his professional debut on the first day of the 2015/16 match against FC Liefering . After only one season he was forced to return to the regional league with Austria.
In August 2016 he moved to the second division LASK Linz , where he had a contract that was valid until June 2017.
After LASK was promoted to the Bundesliga, Miesenböck moved to the second division club SC Wiener Neustadt for the 2017/18 season . For the 2018/19 season he moved to Slovakia to Spartak Trnava , where he received a contract that ran until June 2020. He returned to Austria for the 2019/20 season and moved to Bundesliga club SV Mattersburg . The club stopped playing after the 2019/20 season.
Personal
His brother Marco is also a soccer player. His father Gerd was the stadium announcer for SK Austria Kärnten and is a politician ("Citizens' Alliance").
