Marco Miesenböck (born April 30, 1989 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Miesenböck began his career at FC Kärnten . Between 1998 and 1999 he played briefly for FC Welzenegg . For the 2003/04 season he came to AKA Carinthia , which he left after the 2007/08 season. In the 2007/08 season he also made two appearances for the amateurs of his home club FC Kärnten in the regional league . For the 2008/09 season he moved to the Bundesliga club SK Austria Kärnten , where he was only used for the fourth-rate amateurs.
For the 2009/10 season he moved to the regional division SV Horn . In two years with Horn he made 44 appearances in the Regionalliga Ost, in which he scored 16 goals. For the 2011/12 season Miesenböck moved to the second division SC Austria Lustenau . He made his debut in the second division in July 2011 when he came on as a substitute for Murat Çetinkaya on the first day of that season against SV Grödig in the 64th minute . By the end of the season he made 15 appearances in the second division. After a further eight missions in the 2012/13 season, he dissolved his contract in Vorarlberg in November 2012. He then moved to league competitor First Vienna FC in January 2013 . He scored his first second division goal for Vienna in March 2013 in a 1-1 draw against FC Blau-Weiß Linz . By the end of the season he came to Vienna for 15 second division appearances, in which he made four goals. In the 2013/14 season he scored four goals in 26 missions, but with the capital club he rose from the second division at the end of the season.
He then moved to the fourth-class ASK Kottingbrunn for the 2014/15 season . For Kottingbrunn he made 43 appearances in the regional league in two seasons and scored 33 goals. For the 2016/17 season he joined the regional league team ASK Ebreichsdorf . For the Lower Austrians he made 29 regional league appearances in a year and a half, in which he scored ten goals. In January 2018 he switched to the fourth-class SV Stripfing . With Stripfing, he rose to the regional league in 2019. After 51 appearances, he left the club after two years and moved to league competitor SV Leobendorf in January 2020 .
Personal
His brother Fabian (* 1993) is also a soccer player. His father Gerd was the stadium announcer of SK Austria Kärnten and is a politician.
