Fabian Seeger

Fabian Seeger (* 1983 in Hamburg ) is a German sports scientist , soccer coach and author of specialist soccer books.

Career

Seeger, who played tennis at TC Wedel and soccer at Wedeler TSV , passed his Abitur in 2002 at Johann-Rist-Gymnasium in Wedel . In 2002 he left the football league team. Then he played with the second team of Rasensport Elmshorn and until 2009 with Suchsdorfer SV in the Schleswig-Holstein Association League .

He studied sport in Kiel and his thesis, which he accepted in 2008, is entitled "Coaching in competitive sport: an empirical study in football". He is in possession of the DFB-A license . Seeger practiced training at the Hamburger SV football school and at several clubs, including Kilia Kiel and FC St. Pauli . From 2009 he was DFB base coach in Hamburg, from January 2010 also youth coordinator at Wedeler TSV and from 30 March 2010 to 30 June 2011 also co-trainer of the Wedeler team in the Hamburg Oberliga. In December 2009 he was a guest at the current sports studio and competed in goal wall shooting against Sebastian Vettel and Thomas Tuchel . He was also a selection trainer for the Hamburg Football Association , and he also gave lectures at training courses and courses. He was also involved in an agency that offered sports courses and events.

On August 1, 2012, Seeger became strategic advisor to Altona 93 . Seeger has been the DFB base coordinator in the Hamburg Football Association since November 2017.
