Fabiano Machado

Fabiano Machado (born May 28, 1986 ) is a former Brazilian automobile racing driver . Machado won the South American Formula 3 Championship in 2011 . In 2012 he started in the GP3 series .

Career

Machado began his motorsport career in 2003 at the age of 17 in karting . He remained active in this sport until 2010. 2010 joined Machado in Formula racing and went during the season at Cesário Fórmula in the 3 Championship Formula South American one. Machado won four races and finished his debut season on the fourth championship course. 2011 Machado stayed with Cesário Fórmula in the South American Formula 3. He dominated the season and won 17 of 25 races. With 536 points he won the championship title ahead of his teammate Ronaldo Freitas , who had scored 331 points.

In 2012 Machado moved to Europe to join Marussia Manor Racing in the GP3 series . While his teammate Tio Ellinas won a race, Machado remained without points and finished the season in 21st place overall.
