society

His professional career began in Serie C1 at FC Empoli in 1991. In 1994 he moved to FC Genoa , where he scored a remarkable eight goals in three years. In 1996 he then moved to Inter Milan . He played there for three seasons and during that time - in 1998 - he won the UEFA Cup and was temporarily captain. In 1999 he went to FC Turin , where he stayed for five years. As Galante in Turin only was Reserve, in 2004 he joined the AS Livorno, where he rose quickly to key players and helped the team in Serie A to establish. In the 2006/07 season when Livorno unexpectedly took part in the UEFA Cup due to the corruption scandal in Italy , he played seven European Cup matches for Livorno, in which he even scored a goal. After the relegation of Livorno at the end of the 2007/08 season, he dissolved the contract with the club, only to join Livorno a few months later.

After the move from Cristiano Lucarelli to Shakhtar Donetsk , Galante was briefly the new captain of AS Livorno for the 2007/08 season , but was replaced as captain after three games by David Balleri . From the 2008/09 season he no longer came on the status of a substitute player, so his expiring contract was not extended in the summer of 2010 after Livorno had previously been relegated from Serie A. So he ended his career.
