Fabrizio Buschiazzo , full name Fabrizio Buschiazzo Morel , (born July 7, 1996 in Juan Lacaze ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.89-meter-tall defensive player Buschiazzo has been part of the youth department of Uruguayan first division club Atlético Peñarol since at least 2013 and has been part of the extended squad of the professional team since the 2014/15 season at the latest. He made his debut in the professional team in the 2-0 away defeat at Atlético Nacional under coach Jorge da Silva on March 9, 2016 with a starting eleven as part of the Copa Libertadores 2016 in a competitive game of the professional team. In total, he came to three missions in this competition (no goal). In the Primera División he was not used for the first time on March 20, 2016 in the 1-0 away win over the Racing Club de Montevideo . This was his only season appearance in the league with the "Aurinegros", with whom he won the national championship title in that season. In mid-July 2016 he was loaned to Defensa y Justicia . With the Argentines he has so far (as of August 5, 2017) played once (no goal) in the league and in the Copa Argentina .

National team

Buschiazzo was a member of Uruguay's U-15. He made his debut on May 29, 2012 under coach Fabián Coito in the 1-1 draw against Paraguay in the Uruguayan U-17 national team . He took part with the U-17 selection at the U-17 South American Championship 2013 in Argentina . With the team, he finished fourth in the tournament. Even before the subsequent World Cup he had 31 international U-17 appearances and four goals. In October 2013 he was part of the Uruguayan squad at the 2013 U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates . There he reached the quarter-finals with the team. He was used in five World Cup matches. He didn't score a goal. During the tournament he was also the team captain of the "Celeste".

Buschiazzo has been a member of the Uruguayan U-20 national team, also overseen by coach Fabián Coito, since at least March 2014 . On April 15, 2014, he was in the starting line-up in the 3-0 win over Chile. He was also used in the international matches on May 22, 2014 and June 12, 2014 against Paraguay and in the games against Peru on August 4, 2014 and August 6, 2014.
