The Falkenwand is a 1128 m high summit in the Bavarian Prealps in the Isarwinkel .
The Falkenwand rises with a prominent rock break above the Schronbach valley to the north , while in the south it is only separated from the elongated Falkenberg by a less pronounced saddle . The approach can be made via the Niedersalm . The mountain is therefore between the Isar in the south and its tributary Schronbach in the municipality of Jachenau in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district .
