The Holding Fareva SA is a contract manufacturer of cosmetics , pharmaceuticals , detergents for household and industrial, food supplements and other products.
Fareva is one of the world's largest contract manufacturers in the cosmetics sector and the market leader in Europe. Clients include Chanel , Lancôme , Cartier , Dior , Yves Saint Laurent , Hugo Boss , Azzaro , Bulgari , Amway and others.
In 2007 the group with 3000 employees achieved a turnover of more than 473 million euros, of which 43% in the cosmetics sector, 41% in the pharmaceutical sector and 16% in the household / industrial products sector. The “Istituto De Angeli” in Reggello was taken over on July 1, 2009 by Boehringer Ingelheim . In 2010 Fareva achieved sales of $ 1,200 million with 5,500 employees. It has 28 production facilities. Most of them are in France, one in Germany ( Excella GmbH in Feucht near Nuremberg), one in Switzerland ( Excelvision AG in Hettlingen ZH ) and one in Uschhorod ( Ukraine ). The legal headquarters are in Luxembourg .
With Fareva do Brasil in São Paulo and Fareva Richmond, the leap to America was made in 2011 .
