Fassmer FPB 25 is the shipyard name of a series of coastal patrol boats from the Fassmer shipyard in Berne / Motzen, three of which were built for the police in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
history
The ships were built at the Fassmer shipyard and put into service in 2001, 2003 and 2005. The new buildings, based on modular construction and standard components, each cost around 5.5 million euros.
commitment
The ships approved for coastal travel are used by the water police inspections in Rostock , Wismar and Wolgast in the seaports of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the coastal waters and the Baltic Sea . The range of the ships is 350 nautical miles .
Technical data and equipment
The ships are powered by two MAN diesel engines with an output of 807 kW each. You can reach a speed of 24 knots . They are equipped with a bow thruster .
In the stern area, a rigid inflatable boat is carried as a rescue boat . This can be lowered into the water using the on-board crane and brought back on board.
The ships have two decks with a closed steering position.
