Fassmer FPB 27 is the shipyard name of a series of police boats from the Fassmer shipyard in Berne / Motzen, three of which were built for the water police in Schleswig-Holstein .

history

The ships were built at the Fassmer shipyard and put into service in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

commitment

The boats are stationed in Kiel , Kappeln and Heiligenhafen . They are used by the water police stations in Kiel, Flensburg and Heiligenhafen on the Baltic Sea in the territorial waters of the Federal Republic of Germany off the coast of Schleswig-Holstein for shipping police tasks, fishing supervision and environmental protection. In the event of accidents at sea, they can be used as a deployment and coordination platform. The boats are also available to the federal coast guard .

The range of the ships is 555 nautical miles at a speed of 15 knots  .

Technical data and equipment

The vessels are powered by two MTU - Diesel engines (type 10V 2000 M72), each with 900 per  kW power driven. The motors act on two fixed propellers via gears . The ships reach a speed of 22  knots .

Two generators with 110 and 53 kW power were installed for the power supply . The ships are equipped with a bow thruster .

The ships are designed for operation with four crew members . There are three double cabins on board, so that a total of six people can be accommodated.

In the stern area, a rigid inflatable boat is carried as a rescue boat . This can be lowered into the water and brought back on board using the on-board crane, which has a capacity of 1000 kg.
