Fast Loud Death is the first studio album by the Finnish thrash metal band Lost Society . It was released on March 15, 2013 via Nuclear Blast .

Origin and background

Was produced almost Loud Death of Nico Laurenne at Sonic Pump Studios in the Finnish capital Helsinki . I Stole Your Love is a cover version . The original is from the US hard rock band Kiss . For the songs Kill (Those Who Oppose Me) and Trash All Over You were music videos rotated. It was directed by Maurice Swinkels from the band Legion of the Damned . The album cover was designed by Ed Repka . The comic- style picture shows the band in the tour bus, who left a destroyed city behind.

NWL stands for "naked, wasted, lost" ( English for "naked, drunk, lost"). The abbreviation EAG means "Emos are gay" (' Emos are gay '). Kill (Those Who Oppose Me) is about how the band shows the middle finger to what Samy Elbanna says is “a society contaminated by deceit and betrayal ” . In Bitch Out My Way the musicians show respect to all those who do what they want and don't let anyone or anything stop them. Trash All Over You has no misspellings as it is not about the music genre .

“The song addresses a situation that probably all of us know. There are phases in life when the shit seems to be attracted too magnetically - all your problems pile up meters high, only to collapse over you with a loud crash and bury you under them. At such moments you cursed everything and everyone! "

- Samy Elbanna

For Walter Scheurer from the online magazine Metal.de , the album “impresses with its impetuous Thrash melange that is almost overflowing with energy”. Since the musicians "definitely know how the thrash bunny goes", he gave eight out of ten points. For Marcel Rapp from the online magazine Powermetal.de, the album is bursting with "crisp, driving riffs, cool drumming, a nice and a wonderfully fast aggression", although he criticized "the somewhat bold lyrics". Nevertheless, Rapp awarded eight out of ten points. Uwe “Buffo” Schnädelbach from the German magazine Rock Hard criticized the band's lack of independence, but praised the carefree and joyful playing of the musicians. Schnädelbach awarded 7.5 out of ten points because the band “belongs to the future”.

Fast Loud Death debuted at number 25 on the Finnish album charts.
