Faton Toski (actually Faton Toska , born February 17, 1987 in Gjilan , Yugoslavia , today Kosovo ) is a German - Kosovar football player . His preferred position is the offensive midfield .

Toski played in his youth for TuS Makkabi Frankfurt and Eintracht Frankfurt , where he was part of the professional squad from the 2006/07 season. He made his Bundesliga debut on May 12, 2007 when he was substituted on for the game against Werder Bremen . He scored his first Bundesliga goal on December 8, 2007, making it 1-0 against FC Schalke 04 . Most of the time he played for the Frankfurt league team , but from the second half of the 2007/08 season he was also regularly used in the first team. On January 25, 2008 Toski extended his contract, which ran until 2009, early until June 30, 2011. For the 2010/11 season he moved to Bundesliga relegated VfL Bochum , where he signed a one-year contract. With Bochum he reached third place in the table this season, but failed in the relegation to the Bundesliga to Borussia Mönchengladbach . After the end of the season, his contract was extended for another two years. After a period of no association, he was signed up by FSV Frankfurt on January 21, 2014 after a successful trial training session . In August 2016 he joined KF Laçi in Albania.
National team
Toski made his debut on September 14, 2005 against Portugal in the German U-19 national team . In the course of the 2005/06 season four more missions were added, but he could not qualify with the team for the 2006 U-19 European Championship .
On March 5, 2014 Toski made his debut in an unofficial test match in the selection of Kosovo .
Surname
His family name is actually "Toska". Before moving to VfL Bochum , he wanted to know whether it was possible to change the name on the jersey, but the name must be identical to the entry on the passport.
