Favor Ofili gained her first international experience in 2018 at the Youth Africa Games in Algiers , where she won the gold medal in the 400-meter run in 53.57 s. So she qualified for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires , where she finished tenth. The following year, she won the African Youth Championships in Abidjan with new championship records of 23.38 s over 200 meters and 52.28 s over 400 meters as well as the Nigerian sprint relay (1000 meters) in 2: 11.93 minutes. Then she retired at the World Relays in Yokohama in the 4 x 100 meter relay with 45.07 seconds in advance, as well as with the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 32.10 minutes. In August she took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time and won the silver medal over 400 meters behind Galefele Moroko from Botswana in 51.68 seconds . In addition, she won the Nigerian 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 30.32 minutes. At the end of September she reached the semi-finals at the World Championships in Doha , where she was eliminated with 52.58 s. She also started with the 4 x 400 meter relay, but did not reach the final with 3: 35.90 min .
In 2019 Ofili became Nigerian champion in the 200-meter run.
