The Feistritztal-Radweg ( R8 ) is an 85 km long cycle path in Styria , Austria . It leads along the Feistritz , begins in Ratten in the upper Feistitritztal and ends in Fürstenfeld . The first 18 kilometers between Ratten and Birkfeld run on the disused section of the Feistritztalbahn .

The 85 km long cycle path runs from Ratten via Birkfeld (18 km), Koglhof , Anger (31 km), Oberfeistritz , Stubenberg am See (43 km), St. Johann bei Herberstein , Hirnsdorf , Großsteinbach (58 km), Großwilfersdorf , Altenmarkt near Fürstenfeld and ends at kilometer 85 in Fürstenfeld .

Attractions

Sights include the summer toboggan run in Koglhof , the Stubenbergklamm , the Stubenbergsee and the Herberstein Castle animal and nature park . In spring, the chess flower can be admired in Großsteinbach next to the leisure center (from north to south; arranged downstream)
