Felipe Salazar Villagrana

Felipe Salazar Villagrana (born September 20, 1940 in Amatlán de Cañas , Nayarit , Mexico ) is a Mexican clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of San Juan de los Lagos .

Life

Felipe Salazar Villagrana received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Guadalajara on December 21, 1968 .

On March 11, 2008 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of San Juan de los Lagos. The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Juan Cardinal Sandoval Íñiguez , donated him episcopal ordination on May 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Zamora , Javier Navarro Rodríguez , and the Bishop of Aguascalientes , José María de la Torre Martín .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on April 2, 2016.
