Javier Navarro Rodríguez

Javier Navarro Rodríguez (born October 27, 1949 in Tala ) is Bishop of Zamora .

Life

Javier Navarro Rodríguez was ordained a priest on December 23, 1978 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Voncaria and auxiliary bishop in Guadalajara on April 15, 1992 . He was ordained episcopal on June 5th of the same year by the Archbishop of Guadalajara , Cardinal Juan Jesús Posadas Ocampo ; Co - consecrators were Manuel Pérez-Gil y González , Archbishop of Tlalnepantla , and Francisco Raúl Villalobos Padilla , Former Bishop of Saltillo .

On January 20, 1999, he was appointed Bishop of San Juan de los Lagos . He was appointed Bishop of Zamora on May 3, 2007, and was introduced to the office on July 25 of the same year. Navarro is currently Vice President of the Mexican Bishops' Conference.
