Manuel Pérez-Gil y González (born January 13, 1921 in Morelia , Mexico , † February 14, 1996 ) was a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Tlalnepantla .

Life

Manuel Pérez-Gil y González received on 10 April 1943, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 18, 1966, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Bishop of Mexicali . The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico, Archbishop Luigi Raimondi , donated him episcopal ordination on October 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Tijuana , Alfredo Galindo Mendoza MSpS , and the Coadjutor Archbishop of Hermosillo , Carlos Quintero Arce .

On March 30, 1984, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tlalnepantla . The inauguration took place on June 2 of the same year. With the elevation of the diocese to an archbishopric on June 17, 1989, he was appointed the first archbishop of Tlalnepantla.
