Johann Felix Heidenreich Bernhard Salesius Dominicus Josephus Maria Droste Vischering zu Nesselrode-Reichenstein (born August 4, 1808 in Münster ; † May 2, 1865 Herten Castle ) was a landowner and from 1858 to 1865 a member of the Prussian mansion .

Life

Origin and family

Felix Droste zu Vischering was the son of the married couple Adolf Heidenreich Droste zu Vischering (1769-1826) and Maria Karoline von Nesselrode (1779-1858, daughter of Johann Franz Joseph von Nesselrode-Reichenstein ) of the Westphalian noble family Droste zu Vischering , one of the oldest and most important Westphalian families. Numerous well-known personalities have emerged from it. Felix 'half-brother Maximilian (1794–1849) was a member of the Westphalia Provincial Parliament .

He married Countess Maria Theresia von Bocholtz-Asseburg on May 2, 1835 in Hinnenburg . The children left the marriage

emerged. Felix became the universal heir of his grandfather Johann Franz Joseph von Nesselrode-Reichenstein , as his sons died before him. The inheritance was tied to the condition of accepting the Nesselrode coat of arms along with the name. In this context, the Prussian king elevated the ancestral line of Droste zu Vischering to the rank of count . The sources give little information about Felix's political work.
