Felix Roebuck

Felix Rehbock OMI (* 1971 in Papenburg ) is a Catholic priest and since May 26, 2019 the third provincial of the Central European Province of the Oblates ( Germany , Austria and the Czech Republic ). It has its seat in the Provincialate of the Order in the St. Boniface Monastery in Hünfeld .

He got to know the religious community of the Oblates of the Immaculate Virgin Mary during his school days in St. Nicholas Monastery. In 1994 he joined the order and studied after the novitiate in Mainz and Madrid before he was ordained priest in 2000 in Hünfeld . Rehbock then worked as a chaplain in Munich and Zwickau and as youth and school chaplain in Hünfeld and Burlo ( Mariengarden Abbey ). Since 2012 he has succeeded Father Andreas Petith (OMI) as Rector of the Nikolauskloster in Jüchen . On January 14, 2019, he was appointed Provincial of the Central European Province by the Superior General of the Oblates, Father Louis Lougen . He was introduced to his office on May 26, 2019, succeeding Father Stefan Obergfell .
