Felix Schiller (born December 6, 1989 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player . He was used in defense and was most recently under contract with VfL Osnabrück .

Career

From 2001 to 2005 Schiller played for Tasmania Gropiusstadt . He then moved to Werder Bremen and was North German champion in 2007 with the U-19 team. For the 2008/09 season he was included in the squad of the second senior team, so he made his professional debut on November 12, 2008 in the 0-1 home defeat against Dynamo Dresden . As a result, he was regularly used in the 3rd division and mostly shuttled between the starting line-up and substitute bench. After his last year in Bremen with twelve league appearances, the central defender moved to the second division Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the summer of 2011 . In the 2011/12 season Schiller captured a regular place, but rose with the club from the 3rd division.

From summer 2012 Schiller played for 1. FC Magdeburg in the Regionalliga Nordost . He finished his first season with the FCM in sixth place in the table. In the 2013/14 season , the Magdeburg runners-up. In 2015, Schiller was promoted to the 3rd league as part of the team after the relegation against Kickers Offenbach, and in 2018 to the 2nd Bundesliga. In total, he played over 100 competitive games for 1. FC Magdeburg by the end of his contract in 2018.

For the 2018/19 season , Schiller signed a two-year contract with third division club VfL Osnabrück . Due to an injury in September 2018 and a red card suspension, he only made eight league appearances in the first half of the season. After another and persistent knee injury in January 2019, Schiller was no longer able to continue his professional career and ended it. His contract with VfL Osnabrück, which ran until 2020, was terminated.

With the start of the 2019/2020 Berlin League season , he joined his youth club TSV Rudow.
