occupation

Femme Fatales is an American anthology series by Cinemax . The production and publication of the seasons ran from May 13, 2011 to August 10, 2012. 28 episodes were filmed in 2 seasons.

action

The series is about power-hungry, attractive and dangerous women who are not afraid of murder and were inspired by pulp stories, film noir and graphic novels . The 30-minute episodes are based on films such as Woman Without a Conscience , Pulp Fiction or series such as Incredible Stories ( The Twilight Zone ) and it is not uncommon for sex scenes of the hearty kind to appear. According to the rather pessimistic worldview of film noir, it can not always a "happy ending" can be expected. Each episode is introduced by the lascivious and mysterious presenter Lilith. It shows various actors and storylines, some of which are loose parts of the overall story of the series and also takes on minor supporting roles. The storyline of the first three episodes leads to such varied locations as a prison, a hospital and a noble villa in Hollywood. All episodes are set in this day and age and accompany attractive women as they - in an admittedly bloody and rarely fair way - "emancipate".

background

In the episodes Visions: Part 1 and Visions: Part 2 (2011) as well as Jail Break (2012) and Extracurricular Activities (2012), the screenwriter Rick Copp also played the role of Professor Richard Hollis.
