Ferdinand Allmann

Ferdinand Allmann (born August 1, 1828 in Bingen ; † May 11, 1912 there ) was a Hessian politician ( German Center Party ) and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Ferdinand Allmann was the son of the iron trader Johann Baptist Allmann and his wife Maria Anna Allmann, née Pennrich. He married Anna Maria Josephine Johann Allmann, née Reen, on September 28, 1872. Allmann was a Roman Catholic.

Ferdinand Allmann ran a champagne production (→ sparkling wine ) in Bingen and was purveyor to the grand ducal court . Around 1864 he had the villa-like late classicist house at Mainzer Straße 32 built. This is under monument protection (see also the list of cultural monuments in Bingen am Rhein ).

politics

From 1872 to 1879 Ferdinand Allmann was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. He was elected for the Center Party in the constituency of the city of Bingen . His successor in the state parliament was Jacob Pennrich II after his resignation.

Ferdinand Allmann was mayor of the city of Bingen.
