Ferdinand Friedrich von Droste zu Erwitte (* April 23, 1683 ; † late March 1728 ) was canon in Münster and Paderborn .

Life

Origin and family

Ferdinand Friedrich von Droste zu Erwitte came from the Westphalian noble family Droste zu Erwitte , which went out in the middle of the 18th century and was named after the Erwitte house . He was the son of Engelbert von Droste zu Erwitte and his wife Theresia Maria Anna von der Horst. His siblings were Benedikt Wilhelm Arnold (canon in Paderborn, Privy Councilor, Landdrost), Johann Philipp (1684–1734, canon), Caspar Ferdinand, ∞ with Juliana Elisabeth von Ketteler, parents of Ferdinand Philipp (1710–1736, canon) and Engelbert Dietrich (1725–1769, Provost in Hildesheim), Friedrich (Franciscan, Provost of Holzkirchen) and Maria, ∞ Heinrich Dietrich von Ketteler. His uncle Placidus von Droste was prince abbot in Fulda from 1678 to 1700 .

Act

After the resignation of Canon Ernst von Beveren, Ferdinand Friedrich came into the possession of the Münster cathedral priest and was sworn in on December 3, 1699 . He was ordained a subdeacon on August 3, 1704 . Ferdinand Friedrich was also canon in Paderborn and owner of the Kump Obglegium and the Lembeck Obedience .
