Ferdinand Hauers senior (born January 30, 1828 in Burgdorf near Hanover ; † June 7, 1913 in Hanover) was a German businessman , entrepreneur , brick factory owner , association official and local politician .

Life

Ferdinand Hauers, who was born in Burgdorf in the Kingdom of Hanover before industrialization , lost his parents at an early age and joined his brother Carl Hauers (around 1827; † around 1909) in great fraternal ties.

After completing his school education, Ferdinand Hauers was given the job of a businessman; his corresponding training led him via Braunschweig, first to Magdeburg and finally to Hanover. There, at the age of 25, he and his brother Carl founded the Gebr. Hauers company , a trousseau business that was soon well known far beyond the Hanover region and for which he was involved for almost 60 years.
