Ferdinand Kersting

Ferdinand Kersting (born March 20, 1832 in Bökenförde ; † January 23, 1895 there ) was a landowner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Kersting attended high school in Münster and the commercial and agricultural school in Osnabrück . He managed his own estate in Böckenförde. He was also a member of the committee of the agricultural provincial association for Westphalia and Lippe, as well as the committee of the regional cultural society for the Arnsberg district, as well as a board member of the agricultural association of the Lippstadt district and committee member of the Westphalian farmers' association . Kersting was district deputy of the Lippstadt district and a member of the district committee since the introduction of the new district and provincial order, as well as a member of the municipal council in Bökenförde and the Westphalian provincial state parliament . From 1884 to 1893 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1887 to 1893 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Arnsberg 8 ( Lippstadt , Brilon ) and the German Center Party .
