Ferdinand Pachten (born April 6, 1861 in Limburg an der Lahn , † November 10, 1944 in Brannenburg ) was a German lawyer and notary in Frankfurt am Main .

Life

Leases attended the state high school in Frankfurt am Main . After graduating from high school, he studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Universität Strasbourg and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . He became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg (1880) and the Corps Palatia Strasbourg (1881). In 1883 he passed the first state examination in law in Berlin. At the University of Jena , he was in the same year Dr. iur. PhD. From 1884 to 1888 he completed his legal clerkship in the higher regional court district of Frankfurt am Main. In 1888 he passed the assessor exam. In 1889 he became a lawyer and in 1920 a notary in the higher regional court district of Frankfurt am Main .

Lenten was a member of the supervisory board of various joint stock companies in German industry, including Collet & Engelhard Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik AG in Offenbach am Main. He was a member of the Grand Council of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . From 1915 to 1944 he was chairman of the board of the Carolinum. He was a board member of numerous charitable and non-profit companies in Frankfurt.
