Live and act

From 1941 to 1945 Kása attended elementary school in his native Csömör (Hungary). This was followed by graduating from the humanistic grammar school and studying veterinary medicine at the University of Budapest from 1954. For political reasons ( Hungarian popular uprising ) the student had to leave his home country in 1956, moved to Germany and first studied German at the University of Heidelberg . He completed his veterinary state examination in 1960 at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover . med. vet. took place in 1961 at the same university. In 1964 he took over a veterinary practice in Lörrach , which he expanded into a veterinary clinic together with the veterinarian Gerhilde Klumpp, whom he married in 1966.

Together, the couple advocated bone surgery in veterinary medicine and, together with specialist colleagues, founded the Working Group for Osteosynthesis Questions for Veterinarians (AO-Vet) in 1969 . The community improved techniques for fracture treatment in animals and advocated basic research. For this commitment, the couple received the Richard Völker Medal , which is considered the highest award for small animal practitioners in German-speaking countries.

The Lörracher Tierklinik Kasa is run in the second generation by son Andreas Kasa and his wife.
