Ferrol is a Filipino municipality in the Romblon Province , in the administrative region IV-B, Mimaropa. It has 22,262 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census). It is classified as a sixth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Ferrol is located in the western part of the island of Tablas and the topography of the municipality is characterized by a flat hilly terrain. The neighboring municipality of Odiongan is to the north and Looc to the east .
