Magdiwang is a Filipino municipality in the province of Romblon , in the administrative region IV-B, Mimaropa. It has 14,142 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census). It is classified as a fifth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
The topography of the municipality is characterized by the mountains on the island of Sibuyan , the highest peak of which is the 2,058-meter-high Guiting-guiting . Smaller parts of the Mount Guiting-guiting Natural Park are on the territory of the municipality. Its neighboring communities are San Fernando in the south and Cajidiocan in the east, the long and narrow coastal plain borders on the Sibuyan Sea .
