San Jose is a Filipino municipality in the province of Romblon , in the administrative region IV-B, MIMAROPA . It has 10,881 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census). It is classified as a fifth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
San Jose is located in the south of the province on the small island of Carabao. Their topography is characterized by a flat undulating terrain. In the northeast is the neighboring municipality of Santa Fe on the island of Tablas and in the south the island of Boracay .
