Fertescholmasch ( Ukrainian Фертешолмаш ; Russian Фертешолмаш , Slovak Fertešalmáš , Hungarian Fertőalmás ) is a village with about 1000 inhabitants in the west of the Ukrainian Zakarpattia Oblast in the border triangle Ukraine - Hungary - Romania .
The village is located in Wynohradiv Rajon about 30 km southwest of the Rajon center Wynohradiv and about 3 km east of the village of Welyka Palad , to whose district administration it belongs. Fertescholmasch is located in an area that extends into Hungary and Romania, right on the border with the two countries. The area is surrounded by the Batar River in the north and the Tur River in the south .
Between 1946 and December 8, 2000 the place was called Sabolottja (Заболоття).
