The Tur ( Romanian Râul Tur ; Hungarian Túr ) is a left tributary of the Tisza in Romania and Hungary .

The Tur rises in the Oaş Mountains . It flows in a predominantly westerly direction through the Satu Mare district in northern Romania. He passes the city of Negreşti-Oaş and the municipality of Turulung . For 5.2 km it then forms the border between Romania and Ukraine . For another 1.1 km it is then the border river between Romania and Hungary. It flows to Hungary and flows into the Tisza at Szatmárcseke . The door has a length of 94 km. Its catchment area covers 1261 km², of which 944 km² are in Romania and 317 km² in Hungary. The mean discharge of the door is 8.8 m³ / s.
