The Fiddler's Green Amphitheater is an amphitheater in Denver .

History and use

On June 11, 1988, the venue opened as Fiddler's Green Amphitheater. The theater kept this name from 1988 to 1995, 2003 to 2010 and again since 2013. From 1995 to 2003 it was known as the Coors Amphitheater and from 2010 to 2013 as the Comfort Dental Amphitheater . The open-air stage is owned by the Museum of Outdoor Arts, MOA for short. It is managed by AEG Live, a sub-company of the Anschutz Entertainment Group. The Fiddler's Green Amphitheater offers a total of 18,000 spectators with 7,500 permanent seats and 10,500 standing room. In 2013 and 2014, the venue was renovated for five million US dollars .

Artists like Aerosmith , Alice in Chains , BB King , Backstreet Boys , Bob Dylan , Bon Jovi , Def Leppard , Depeche Mode , Elton John , Eric Clapton , John Lee Hooker , Kings of Leon , Metallica , the Red Hot Chili Peppers , Steve Winwood , Tina Turner and ZZ Top have performed here, among others.
