Fiete boy

Fiete Junge (born January 15, 1992 in Hanover ; † July 2018 ) was a German canoeist .

Boy had inside of canoeing on the discipline Canoe Polo specialized and represented in this sport the RSV Hannover his hometown. After high school he studied at the Georg-August University in Göttingen law and laid 2018 his first state exam from.

In 2015 Junge took part in the 11th European canoe polo championship for the German national team and won the gold medal with the men's team. At the World Games 2017 he took part in canoe polo for the German team and also won gold with the men's team.

For winning the gold medal at the World Games 2017, the young and the German men's team in canoe polo were awarded the silver laurel leaf by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on October 13, 2017 . In July 2018, Fiete Junge died of meningitis .
