Filip Faletar (born April 2, 1995 in Vienna ) is a Croatian - Austrian football player .
Career
society
Faletar began his career at Post SV Vienna . Then he played for SK Rapid Vienna . In 2009 he moved to Spain to the academy of FC Villarreal . After leaving Villarreal in the summer of 2014, he went to Croatia for the first division club RNK Split in the winter of 2014/15 , but was immediately awarded to the second division club NK Imotski . In the summer of 2015 Faletar briefly returned to Split and made his debut in the 1st HNL on the first day of the 2015/16 season when he was substituted on in the final minutes of the game against NK Lokomotiva Zagreb . After two games for Split, he was awarded again to Imotski for half a year.
In August 2016 he moved to the amateurs of FC Schalke 04 .
For the 2018/19 season he returned to Austria, where he joined the second division club SC Wiener Neustadt . After the forced relegation of Wiener Neustadt, he moved to the second division SV Horn for the 2019/20 season . He left Horn after the 2019/20 season.
National team
Faletar first played for the Austrian U-16 juniors in 2010 before he decided to change associations and was first used in 2011 for a Croatian selection. He played his second game for the Croatian U-17 team against Austria . He played for the Croatian U-21 team for the first time in August 2014 when he came on for Marko Bencun in the 81st minute of the friendly against Montenegro .
