Filip Kafka (born April 26, 1982 ) is a former Slovak ski jumper .

Career

Kafka, who started for the ŠKP Štrbské Pleso club , made his international debut on January 3, 1999 at the Continental Cup jumping competition in Engelberg , where he took seventeenth place. On January 30, 1999 he made his debut in the team competition in Willingen in the World Cup . He and his teammates reached eleventh place. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999 in Ramsau am Dachstein , he started in both individual disciplines and landed 44th on the normal hill and 57th on the large hill. After Kafka was able to collect fourteen Continental Cup points in the 1998/99 season , he only won five points in 1999/2000 and thus landed on rank 255 in the overall ranking. He made his last international appearance in February 2003 in Zakopane , where he could only finish the competitions in the back of the rankings.
