Filip Krämer (born June 6, 1992 in Myjava , Czechoslovakia ) is an Austrian basketball player of Slovak descent. He is 202 cm tall.

Player career

From the 2012/2013 season he played for the Austrian basketball division Kapfenberg Bulls , with whom he became national champion in 2017 and 2018 and also won the cup competition in these two years and in 2014. Based on the statistical key figures, the 2015/16 season was Krämer's best in Kapfenberg, when he averaged 12.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per match in 38 Bundesliga appearances.

During the summer of 2018, Krämer decided to move abroad, he accepted a contract offer from the English first division club Worcester Wolves  . In the following January he dissolved his contract with the Wolves again. He had played twelve league games for Worcester and achieved an average of 9.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per use. Shortly after leaving England, he was signed by the Icelandic first division club Stjarnan .

During the summer break of 2019, he joined the German third division club Gießen 46ers Rackelos , the training team of the Central Hessian Bundesliga club.

National team

His career in the national team began for Krämer in the 2011/2012 season in the U20s. He had his first appearances in the senior national team as part of the qualification for the European basketball championship 2017 , when he was able to contribute seven points in his second outing against Germany.

family

His father Roman was a Slovak national player, his brother David was also a professional basketball player.
