Roman Krämer

Roman Krämer (born August 15, 1970 in Kraslice , Czechoslovakia ) is a former German - Slovak basketball player . He is the father of David Krämer and Filip Krämer .

career

Krämer's grandfather and emigrated to what was then Czechoslovakia. Roman Krämer initially played for BK Olmütz for twelve years before he moved to the Slovak club TTS Trencin. In 1994 the 1.98 meter long winger moved to Steiner Bayreuth in the basketball Bundesliga in Germany. After a year he moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga SG FT / MTV Braunschweig , in the 1996/97 season he was only under contract with the second division TG Landshut in the 2nd Bundesliga . The team withdrew from the competition during the game year, and Krämer switched to BK Mattersburg in Austria.

From 1997 to 2001 he wore the shirt of the UBC Oberwart , won the cup competition with Burgenland in 1999 and was named Player of the Year in the Austrian Bundesliga following the 1999/2000 season . With Oberwart he also competed in European club competitions. In the 2001/02 season, Krämer was in the service of the Slovak first division club Slovakofarma Pezinok and won the championship title with the team.

He played for Olympique d'Antibes in France, in late autumn 2002 the winger returned to Oberwart, and in the 2003/04 season he briefly strengthened BK Klosterneuburg . From 2004 to 2008, Krämer played for the Czech second division club Proton Zlin.

National team

Krämer first played for the Czechoslovak junior team, then later for the senior national team of Slovakia.
